A quick trip report from DCA Reagan Airport up to Philadelphia Int'l on American Eagle's CRJ-200, operated by PSA Airlines. The flight was supposed to be quick and easy, but we were delayed by reports of poor weather approaching Philadelphia Airport. The captain shut down the engines as we waited in a holding bay for about an hour sit on the ground. Despite this delay, (which lasted longer than the time inflight), the flight was rather relaxing with plenty of great views as the sun set. There was no service onboard; while this is typical for short flights, I have experienced competing airlines and operators carry out a brief service with water and small snacks. Overall, the CRJ-200 was small and cramped, but for a short 30 min hop, the service and flight was acceptable.
