Mid Pines is located in Southern Pines, North Carolina. Built in 1921 by Donald Ross and restored in 2013 by Kyle Franz, winning GOLF Magazine’s Best U.S. Resort Renovation and Restoration of the Year. A test of accuracy, creativity and mental fortitude, Mid Pines will eat your lunch and you'll thank it for doing so. Franz was fresh off restoring Pinehurst #2 with Coore & Crenshaw for the US Open when Kelly Miller met him, the rest is history. In your next visit to Pinehurst/Southern Pines, Mid Pines and it's sister courses are a must play (just bring a couple extra sleeves of balls).
