What gear did the U.S. paratroopers of the 82nd and 101st Airborne use on D-Day? We're answering that question with Erik Dorr of the Gettysburg Museum of History as well look at some of the most unique artifacts from the Normandy invasion. We also look at some creative ways that some of this gear was repurposed both during and after the war. Definitely one to watch to the end!!!

CLARIFICATION: In the video, I stated that most of the main parachutes used on D-Day were camouflaged. It was the goal of the US Army to equip all paratroopers with camo chutes but about half ended up being white.
