ENSC 1004 Lab 1 Video

This video contains a demonstration of tensile testing of materials using a benchtop tensile tester; this activity is carried out as a lab in ENSC 1004: Materials Engineering at UWA. The video begins with an overview of the tensile tester and the test specimens. How to mount test specimens is demonstrated, followed by the testing of three specimens (steel, aluminum and PVC) to failure. The video concludes by showing how to use MS Excel to perform the data analysis and how to create plots.
