24 Hours In the Old Pueblo is a mount bike race hosted by Epic Rides, and takes place every year in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. The Sonaran Desert is a harsh environment, riddled with critters and plants that all want to sting or poke. Choya is abundant, and fun to touch (ask me how I know).
My goal was to capture the landscape that mountain bikers face during this 24 hour event, which goes from 12 noon till 12 the next day. Riders from around the world tackle this race either as a group relay, or solo. The current solo record is 21 laps.
