This week on Finnish Photo Fridays I am going to cover a neat pre-war photograph of Finnish cavalry from either the Hämeen Ratsurykmentti (Häme Cavalry Regiment or HRR) or the Uudenmaan Rakuunarykmentti (Uudenmaa Dragoon Regiment or URR) on parade with their Mosin-Nagant m/27rv cavalry rifles. As a neat bonus, if you look closely enough you will also see a Finnish cavalryman with a wooden dummy m/31 SMG training device. The m/27rv is one of the most desirable "mainstream" variants of the various flavors of Finnish Mosin-Nagants, and I hope to cover it in greater detail in future videos.
