Cion: Requiem of Ravel’s Boléro, is a piece where the message of death and its dire consequences infused through a lament confront a universe in which the age-old tropes of greed, power, and religion have given rise to loss of life, not as a natural phenomenon. It invites us to think about the pain inflicted on others by the actions of others.
In the film Mirror III: Horizon, two strangers separated by darkness, undefined distance, and untrusting environments communicate through light across the ocean. The film probes components of suspicion and trust that might emerge between protagonists who cannot confirm the identity or intention of each other.
