On 14th August 2025, Cottam power station's 8 cooling towers are no more. looking at the site afterwards and noticing how the towers fell, filling in the deep pools underneath. I'd say that it was a perfectly executed, controlled demolition which set a new world record. Never has eight towers been demolished at the same time and thanks to Jamie Brady, we experienced the day and put it into a video for you all to see.
