What to do in Shanghai this summer: A Local's Guide

After months of travel around China, I returned to the city I’ve called home for 4 years — and this summer, something made me fall in love with Shanghai all over again.

In this vlog, I take myself on a solo date to some of Shanghai’s must-visit spots — Yu Garden, The Bund, Xintiandi — before slowing things down with a picnic at West Bund Park, a DIY silver ring session with a friend, and dinner overlooking the iconic Lujiazui skyline.

The next day, I escape the city to find a peaceful camping spot surrounded by nature. This is my version of summer in Shanghai: part city adventure, part quiet retreat.
