GHEE RICE
Ingredients
Oil
Ghee
Cinnamon -3 nos
Cloves - 3 nos
Cardamom - 2 nos
Raisins
Onion - 1 nos
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
Salt
Water
Coriander Leaves
Mint Leaves
Instructions
Soak Jeera Samba rice for 10 minutes and keep aside.
Heat oil and ghee in a pan.
Once the oil is hot, add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and raisins. Mix well.
Add 1 sliced onion and sauté lightly.
(Do not let the Onion brown, as it will change the rice's color)
Add ½ tablespoon ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell goes.
Add salt to taste.
Add water in a 1:2 ratio
(2 cups rice and 4 cups water).
Let the water come to a boil.
Once it boils, Add the soaked rice & close the lid and cook for 8–10 minutes.
Finally, add ghee, mix gently, and serve hot.
