Day 2: Waking up to a beautiful, crispy, cool morning in Merweville with a hot cup of coffee was just the way to start the day. We received a message from a local lady who said the humidity was just right for them to start a new batch of nougat and we should come over. Unfortunately we were too late since the humidity had already risen by the time we arrived. However, they showed us what makes their business so special. They also shared their amazing story. Then we had to check out of our accommodation but just before leaving town we went past the church hall to buy some sausage, fresh and dry.
