तूय पेरुनीर् यमुनै त्तुरैवनै,
आयर् कुलत्तिनिल् तोन्रुं अणि विळक्कै,
तायै क्कुडल् विळक्कं शेय्द दामोदरनै,
तूयोमाय् वन्दु नां तूमलर् तूवित्तोळु’दु,
वायिनाल् पाडि मनत्तिनाल् शिन्दिक्क,
पोय पिळै’युं पुगुदरुवा निन्रनवुम्,
तीयिनिल् तूशागुं शेप्पेलोरेम्बावाय् ॥ ५ ॥
आंडाल अपनी सखियों से कहती हैं —
“मधुरा के स्वामी, यमुना के तट विहारी,
गोपकुल के दीपक, माँ यशोदा की कोख को तेज देने वाले,
रस्सी से बँधे दामोदर श्रीकृष्ण की आराधना करो.
हम पवित्र होकर उनके समक्ष जाएँ, पुष्प अर्पित करें, वाणी से कीर्तन करें, और मन में उनका ध्यान करें.
इससे हमारे सभी बीते और भावी पाप अग्नि में गिरती धूल की तरह नष्ट हो जाएँगे.
हे सखियो! यही पावै-व्रत की आत्मा है — शुद्ध मन, सच्ची वाणी, और स्नेहपूर्ण कीर्तन.”
“भक्ति का पाँचवाँ चरण — मन, वाणी और कर्म की एकता से ईश्वर-स्मरण.
जहाँ कीर्तन और ध्यान मिलते हैं, वहाँ सभी पाप भस्म हो जाते हैं.”
आंडाल का संदेश है —
“चलो सखियो! हम सब मिलकर उस दामोदर का गुणगान करें,
जो बंधन में रहकर भी सबको मुक्त करता है.”
