In 2021, funding for three-year full-time fixed-term candidates undertaking PhD studies and postdoctoral research was awarded to six successful applicants.
The research topics include genomic applications for invasive species control, new predator luring technology, optimising ground-based pest control, and potential social and ethical challenges to the mission.
Now halfway through their research, we had a chat with four of the students to hear more about their work.
