Here's a short snippet of a Tabla duet by Subhadrakalyan and Rajarshi Haldar where they play two Relas in Pancham Sawari. The first Rela that Subhadrakalyan plays is a composition of Pandit Shankar Ghosh, and the Rela that follows as Rajarshi joins in is a composition of Pandit Bickram Ghosh.
Subhadrakalyan and Rajarshi represent the typical Baaj of Pandit Shankar Ghosh. They are the last disciples of Pandit Shankar Ghosh and have been under the tutelage of Pandit Bickram Ghosh for the last ten years.
This was performed at the annual event of the Gurukul, Naad: the Bickram Ghosh Academy of Performing Arts, in November, 2024. The video was captured by Pandit Bickram Ghosh himself in his cellphone.
