Dave Chappelle (full name David Khari Webber Chappelle) was born on August 24, 1973, in Washington, D.C., USA. He grew up in an intellectual family, showed his talent for comedy at an early age and pursued a stand-up career as a teenager. Dave began performing at comedy clubs in New York, especially the Comedy Cellar, where he had legendary nights with full houses. He became widely known for his show “Chappelle’s Show”, becoming one of the biggest icons of American stand-up comedy.
