Inauguration of the screw turbine at Finsjö hydropower plant in Emån

Today, we participated Uniper's inauguration of the new screw turbine at the Finsjö power plant in river Emån. We have been entrusted to deliver three TiVA FC units with integrated PIT antennas, along with our new underwater camera, TiVA FC, for the project.

The screw turbine is the first to be commissioned in Sweden and enables both upstream and downstream migration of fish through the turbine itself. The evaluation of the turbine is being conducted by Karlstad University. Fish will be tagged with PIT tags and hydroacoustic transmitters which, with the help of the technology from our fish counters, create good conditions for a successful follow-up study.

We would like to thank you for your trust and wish you success with the project and the follow-up.
