लखीसराय से डिप्टी चीफ मिनिस्टर विजय सिन्हा चुनाव लड़ रहे हैं. विजय सिन्हा अपने सपोर्टर्स के साथ सुबह से ही पोलिंग बूथ्स का जायजा ले रहे थे. वो जब खोरियारी गांव पहुंचे. तो गांव में एंट्री के वक्त ही दर्जनों गांव वाले सड़क पर आ गए. विजय सिन्हा की गाड़ियों को रोक लिया. विजय सिन्हा के साथ सुरक्षाकर्मी थे. कुछ सपोर्टर भी थे. लेकिन गांव वालों ने पहले विजय सिन्हा के खिलाफ नारेबाजी की. फिर उनकी गाड़ी पर चप्पल, जूते, पत्थर, कीचड़, गोबर, जिसको जो मिला सब फेंका गया. इस पर विजय सिन्हा को गुस्सा आ गया. उन्होंने कहा कि विरोध करने वाले RJD के गुंडे हैं.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha is contesting the election from Lakhisarai. He had been inspecting polling booths since morning with his supporters. When he reached Khoriyari village, dozens of villagers came out onto the road as he was entering the village. They stopped Vijay Sinha's vehicles. Vijay Sinha was accompanied by security personnel and some supporters. However, the villagers first shouted slogans against him. Then, slippers, shoes, stones, mud, cow dung, and whatever they could find, were thrown at his vehicle. This enraged Vijay Sinha. He declared that those protesting were RJD goons.
