The Saturn lost the console war, and the PlayStation reigned supreme. But history is written by the victors, and the fact is there were more than a few occasions in which Sega’s machine beat Sony’s in a toe-to-toe contest - especially when it came to titles heavy on sprite-based action.

I’ve rounded up some times - 22 times, actually - where the Sega Saturn version of the game was better than the Sony PlayStation version. Saturn vs PS1: who wins? In this video, it’s the Saturn. Because that’s the point.
