The BUKURA AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE trip, organized by 42 Change Makers on July 31, 2025, was more than just a visit. This hands-on learning journey opened minds, sparked curiosity, and connected 89 students from 9 partner schools to modern farming, agri-tech, and diverse career pathways.
What did the 42 Change Makers’ pre- and post-trip survey analysis reveal?
85.71% of the students said the trip boosted their interest in agricultural careers, compared to 24.64% in the pre-survey.
“This trip changed how my students view their future,” said one of the teachers.
“Through this trip, students had the unique opportunity to meet and connect with peers from over 50 schools representing diverse tribes across Kenya — a foundation for mutual understanding, inclusion, and friendships that are vital to building lasting peace and national stability,” said Joel, 42 Change Makers Secretary.
