This video shows a horizontal, axial split case, double inlet impeller centrifugal pump. You can see inside the pump to view how liquid flows into the left and right side of the impeller. Animations show how the impeller, bearings and shaft seals operate.
This design of centrifugal pump transfers downstream liquid in a straight line through the pump into the upstream pipeline.
