Ukulele Accessory: Der Jung Planetary Tuners (from AliExpress)

There was some discussion on the Ukulele Underground Forum (web) about Der Jung tuners direct from AliExpress. Currently, I do not know a way to order Der Jung direct in the US (I have contacted their distributor in the US but did not get a reply). Gotoh UPTs, in my experience, are available more affordably from The Ukulele Site.
Installation on the Martin OXK Concert required a hand reamer, as well as a pin vice for the “spike.” Go slow with the reamer, check the fit, and it’s a pretty easy job for anyone that is loosely proficient using some kind of tool.
I understand that some people struggle with ordering from AliExpress; in that case, I would suggest ordering with a credit card that has good purchase protection. I have ordered from AliExpress a number of times and had good luck—but I know most Americans are used to buying from vendors who import from China and sell in the US, rather than ordering direct from China.
