Every now and then, a story on America’s Got Talent hits so deep it brings both tears and inspiration. And in Season 20, Episode 5, aired in June 2025, that story came from Bill Taylor and his band, the Appalachian Heathens. A truck driver from the hills of Middlesboro, Kentucky, Bill stepped onto the AGT stage and brought with him the heart of Appalachia. It was raw, it was real—and it reminded everyone watching that even on life’s long winding roads, dreams can still find a way.
