Staying Local for Lockdown | Mountain Biking The Lake District

As I'm sure you're all aware at this point, life has become fairly strange recently due to current situation with covid19. I hope everyone is keeping safe out there! In this video I get out for a local ride to some trails that I pretty much grew up riding, at Whinlatter Forest. The trail centre is officially closed to vehicles and tourists, though their website says you can still access the trails for a walk or bike ride if you're local. (edit: This video was recorded on the 25th April, since then the site has been updated stating that the mountain biking trails have been closed, please refrain from riding them until they have been reopened)

I kept the riding well within my abilities for this video, and will continue to do so until it's sensible to return to the gnarly trails! Hope you enjoy the video nonetheless, and be sure to drop a suggestion down below if there's any other content you'd like to see during this time!
