The second part of our very memorable trip to Ecuador back in 2007. Here we travelled down the Rio Napo, one of the tributaries of the Amazon, to the remote Sacha Lodge, a rather luxurious ecolodge set in the midst of the rainforest and reached only by paddling across a lake. A five night stay involved lots of little boats, parrots, anteaters, birds, canopy walks and the world's smallest monkey. Our bird list rose to 513.
