【新発田まつり】江戸時代から続く伝統！勇壮な帰り台輪と6町内の熱き競演【Shibata Festival】A brave return wheel and a heated competition

江戸時代から続く新発田市最大の祭りです。
金魚台輪・よさこい・神輿渡御・しばたっ子の祭典・民謡流し・パレードなどが行われます。また数多くの露店の出店もあり、数多くの観光客でにぎわいます。
まつりの見どころの一つに、6町内が競って繰り出す豪華な台輪があります。まつりの華“台輪”は、6つの町内で約280年前より大切に伝承されており、山車や法被や振る舞いにも各々独自のものがあり、見どころの一つとなっています。なかでも「帰り台輪」は、男衆が熱い心意気をぶつけ合い街中に山車を曳きだすもので、勇壮なまつりムードが一気に盛り上がり、毎年多くの観光客を魅了します。

There will be a goldfish daiwa (a wheel), a yosakoi, a mikoshi shrine, a festival of shibatakko, a folk song play, a parade, etc. There are also many stalls, and it is crowded with many tourists.
One of the highlights of the festival is the gorgeous pedestal wheel that the six towns compete with. The flower of the festival "dairin" has been carefully handed down in the six towns for about 280 years, and the floats, dharma coats, and behaviors are each unique, making it one of the highlights. Among them, the "Return Wheel" is a festival in which men show their enthusiasm and enthusiasm and tow floats around the city, and the mood of the festival is suddenly enlivened, attracting many tourists every year.
