US Stock Market LIVE: Dow Futures Fall 500 points; ECB Warns of Deteriorating Outlook | New York Stock Exchange LIVE | CNBC TV18

US Stock Market Live: Dow futures have seen a very sharp reversal from the highs after US President Donald Trump targeted Fed Chair Jerome Powell for refusing to cut rates. Dow futures are now down 600 points, which were up 300 points just a few hours earlier. However, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures are still up 20 and 125 points respectively, although even they have cooled off from the highs.
Dow futures have seen a very sharp reversal from the highs after US President Donald Trump targeted Fed Chair Jerome Powell for refusing to cut rates. Dow futures are now down 600 points, which were up 300 points just a few hours earlier. However, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures are still up 20 and 125 points respectively, although even they have cooled off from the highs. At an event on Wednesday, Fed Chair Jerome Powell said that the Fed will await greater clarity on tariffs before determining any policy stance. He also said that Trump's tariff policies could slow growth and raise inflation. He also said that this could increase the Fed's dilemma in balancing growth or controlling inflation. Trump, on Truth social has said that Powell's termination "could not come fast enough." European markets are lower as well this afternoon.
