Gorlois is Morgana's true father: they may not share the same blood, but he's her father.

Gorlois, the man who, after returning from war, discovered his wife had had a daughter. Maybe she was his, maybe not, who cared? It's not a matter of pride or dignity: this child needed a father and, no matter if she's of his own blood, Gorlois accepted her, gave her a name and raised her... his little girl... his Morgana.

Gorlois, the man who trained her in the using of the sword, who trained her for fighting like a man, who forged her nature and taught her to follow her believes, to help weak people and to stand up even to the king himself if he has made a mistake.

Gorlois, the father that maybe knew what his daughter could do with magic and warned her about the danger and the hatred of Uther towards magic people, but accepted her like she's.

Gorlois, the father she used to help with his armor, the man she waited to return from battles. The man who reproaches her for have humiliated young Prince Arthur... and then laughs with her for what she's done because, God knows, sometimes Arthur can be an arrogant prat as his father and Gorlois knows his little girl would never allow anyone to command her!

Gorlois, the man who died to serve his king, Uther, waiting in vain for rescue that never came. The man on whose grave Morgana cries every year on the day he died.

Gorlois is Morgana's true father, not Uther.

Uther the king, the tyrant, the murder, the persecutor of Morgana's kind... Uther the liar.

Uther, who betrayed his best friend, sleeping with his wife while he was away, fighting for the kingdom.

Uther, the man that broke Morgana's heart so many time, hurting her and making her to think she's a monster.

Uther, the father-in-the-shadow, who claim to love (and maybe he really does!) Morgana as much as Arthur, but he's not able to understand her desire to be acknowledged and loved in public not as a simple ward, a Camelot's guest, but as his own blood.

I was re-watching ep 3x05 and once again my heart broke, seeing Morgana's pain in this episode.
Ignoring the total ruin of Uther's character made by the writers (since at least in 1x12 I really thought he was a loyal man capable of love towards his friends and now I realize he's one of the worst people in the world, betraying his best friend with his wife!! -_____-), ignoring this, as always, my thoughts are for Morgana, because once again she was the only victim.

She's already lost a father, a father she loved and still loves with all his heart, and then she lost her new-found-father because of his hypocrisy and pride ;________;

So I decided to make this video about Morgana&Gorlois and I chose Sean Bean for GoT as Gorlois because I've never seen such a caring and sweet father as Ned Stark is towards his children, best character at all in the show!!!
