Jukido Jujitsu master and sensei, George Rego, teaching a small group of students in August 2013 at the Jukido Academy in Palm Coast, FL some of the finer points of Tai-Otoshi (body drop throw) and Sode Guruma Jime (sleeve wheel choke).
In the first segment Master Rego addresses some footwork issues with Tai-Otoshi, the feeling of the throw, and maximizing kuzushi & control.
In the second segment sode-guruma-jime is reviewed both as an individual technique and within the larger context of self -defense ne-waza (ground fighting) including: maintaining safe positioning, attacking in transition, and eventual positional reversal.
