"Oh. Dark Pit, when you're done fighting Pit, will you be free to come over to my house to have lunch?" Chris asked.

"U-uh, yeah, I don't mind," Dark Pit said.

"Wait a minute! What's all this?" Viridi asked, sounding indignant.

"Um, I'm just inviting him to have lunch over at my house," Chris said. "I often invite the others to try my cooking out. It gets a bit too old when it's always making some sort of meat-based dish for Lucario, and he's always biased in saying it's good... Though I wish he'd stop eating the bones by accident."

"NO! I mean, WHY is Dark Pit even agreeing to go with YOU?!"

Palutena giggled. "He's a free dark bird, Viridi. He does as he pleases. You DO know that part of him, right?" she said.

"B-but...t-this is so stupid! It took me a while to get him to join my side for an alliance, but he doesn't think twice about going to some guy's house for lunch?!"

Dark Pit grinned. "I've seen the food you give to your soldiers. I'm not exactly into vegetables that much. And raw meat? You're behind the times," he said.

Viridi cringed. "Don't you give me sass for my nutritional food! How dare you choose something else!" she yelled.

"On second thought, making tacos de cabeza surely left a big impression on a lot of people..." Chris said.

"Hmm, tacos de cabeza," Pit said, drooling a bit.

"Oh, and did I mention I'm also making homemade salsa?"

"Hmm, tacos de cabeza with homemade salsa..."

Chris sighed. "Dark Pit, don't mind me inviting Pit over. I know he won't be quiet if I don't bring him. He'll surely even annoy you if you come but he doesn't," he said.

"...Eh. Small price to pay. No skin off my back," Dark Pit said.

"Hey, hey. You invite the angel, you get the goddess," Palutena said, poking Chris's shoulder. "You know how many people don't get the whole package when it's just the angel."

"Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiine," Chris said.

The invited three cheered in their own ways, until Palutena noticed Viridi scoffing and looking away. "Is someone feeling a little left out?" she teased.

"O-oh, you all go. I have...better things to do," Viridi said, not looking at her.

Chris was holding a little bowl with homemade salsa and some chips sticking out from it. "Well, if you're willing to be less feisty than usual, I'll just leave this here and see what you do later," he said, putting the bowl on the table. Palutena called off the battle and left with everyone.

Looking indifferent at the bowl, Viridi stared at the chips for a long while. She narrowed her eyes, until her curiosity got the best of her and she very slowly took a bite from a chip dripping with salsa.

"..." Viridi, conflicted with herself, took the bowl and went the same way everyone left, this time eating a little faster.

That afternoon, Chris was put off by the strange look on Viridi's face. He couldn't tell if she was wincing or if she was trying not to smile. But after her sixth taco, it was obvious she clearly enjoyed herself, even though it was a rare event to catch her smile whenever she dropped her guard down.
