Sights and Sounds from Tampa International Airport (4k)

Evening and night time plane spotting at Tampa International Airport (TPA). A few heavies. Another special livery that I really like. (UA) And some other random action and sights and sounds.

It was NOT my best night running the camera and my scanner was acting up a bit, but it was a memorable night!

There is some "requested" video at the end. When I pulled up there was a lady standing where I was going to record. She saw me setting up my camera and asked if I was taking pictures. Told her I did video. She said her husband was a pilot on the plane that was just about to land. I hurried up and recorded it. Camera was set for after dark and I had no time to adjust it, so the video is a bit washed out. But it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Not too long later, her husband came up and said said hi. First pilot I've met since I started doing this. Thought it was pretty cool. If they see this, it was nice meeting you both!

Also met a few people who had seen some of my videos. Very cool! Nice meeting you too!

One other note. If you stick around to the end video. I put the audio in there from a plane saying they saw a turtle on the runway. No other planes after them ever saw it. I thought it was kind of funny. I did an Instagram reeI with it, but got very few likes though. The video of the plane that saw that saw the turtle is in this just after the 4 minute mark (SW2097 N9191WN). 4K video, I didn't see any turtle? Ops vehicles never seemed to see anything either.

Note: The camera that I'm using increases the brightness quite a bit during nighttime filming. It doesn't look like what you’re seeing in the video to the naked eye. I don't want to discourage anyone from nighttime spotting in person at TPA or other airports. It's a fun experience to hang out and watch the planes come and go after dark. At the same time, I don't want people to see the after dark video on this channel thinking it will look exactly the same in person and be disappointed.
