David Michael "Dave" Bautista Jr.[5] (born January 18, 1969)[1] is an American actor, former professional mixed martial artist, and former professional wrestler best known for his time in the WWE under the ring name Batista. He is a six-time world champion, winning the World Heavyweight Championship four times and the WWE Championship twice. He is the longest-reigning consecutive days World Heavyweight Champion in WWE history, and has won the World Tag Team Championship three times (twice with Ric Flair and once with John Cena) and the WWE Tag Team Championship once (with Rey Mysterio). He was the winner of the 2005 Royal Rumble match and went on to headline WrestleMania 21, one of the top five highest-grossing pay-per-view events in pro wrestling history. Batista also won the 2014 Royal Rumble match after which he headlined WrestleMania XXX.

Óscar Gutiérrez Rubio (born December 11, 1974), better known by the ring name Rey Mysterio, is a Mexican-American professional wrestler who currently works for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). He is best known for his time in WWE. He is also known for his work in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Gutierrez was trained by his uncle Rey Misterio, Sr., learning the Lucha Libre high flying style that has been his trademark.

Gutierrez originally worked for AAA in Mexico, from 1992 to 1995. He wrestled in ECW from 1995 to 1996 and WCW from 1996 to 2001 as Rey Misterio Jr. or Rey Mysterio Jr. ("Rey Misterio" is Spanish for "King Mystery"[8]), but dropped the "Junior" from his name when he began working for WWE in 2002.

The game is the latest in the WWE 2K series and released on October 28, 2014 North America and October 31, 2014 in Europe for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and was released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18, 2014 in North America and November 21, 2014 in Europe. The cover features John Cena and is the first in the series to use the WWE logo introduced in 2014. On April 21, 2015, WWE announced an upcoming Windows PC release April 28 2015.[2] This will be the first in the WWE 2K series to be released on PC as well as the first WWE game to be released on PC since 2002's WWE RAW.
