The glasses are priced at $283 in China, and early buyers can get a government subsidy that brings the price down to around $240. The Livis will also be sold internationally through Zeiss, the German optics company.
These lightweight glasses—just 1.26 ounces—feature a 12-megapixel Sony camera, support 1440p video recording, and include voice control that allows users to interact with Li Auto vehicles, like opening windows or adjusting the temperature. With nearly 19 hours of battery life, wireless charging, and a Type-C port, they’re designed for all-day use.
The glasses function as a wearable version of Li Auto’s Lixiang Tongxue AI assistant, powered by the company's own large language model, Mind GPT. There's even a Children Mode for family-friendly interactions.
CEO Li Xiang says this is just the beginning—Li Auto is also exploring AI speakers and even robotics, as it continues its transformation from carmaker to AI tech provider. In comparison, Alibaba’s new Quark AI Glasses start at a higher price point of around $570.
