To those who haven't felt the wind through their hair and the calm spray of the open water on their skin, you might overlook the immense joy to be found from sailing the great big blue. This documentary seeks to explore the very fabric of what it means to sail, encompassing the journey and path to destiny.
From director and cinematographer Nicholas Langer, "A Sail Tale" is the story of a young, fruity whippersnapper's (Benjamin Carman) journey to the open waters. From getting the boat out of storage and cleaned off to setting sail on a beautiful May day, follow his journey through hardships and lost dollies to finding happiness and joy shared with friends.
Maybe the real sailing is the friends we made along the way.
