Diadem Presents: The Max Schachter Story

Determined to honor Alex’s memory, Max channeled his grief into action, founding Safe Schools for Alex, an organization dedicated to making schools safer for our children.

Max shares his efforts to improve school safety, including the creation of a School Safety Dashboard—a tool that empowers parents, teachers, and administrators with critical information to protect students. He emphasizes the importance of prioritizing school safety in Florida and across the nation, saying: "You can’t teach dead kids."

Beyond his advocacy, Max opens up about how the pickleball community has played a vital role in his healing journey, offering a sense of belonging and a healthy outlet during his most challenging times.
