In this episode of Life in Lenny, we take you on an unforgettable Switzerland vanlife adventure to one of the most breathtaking alpine lakes in the Swiss Alps — Lake Oeschinensee.

Our day begins in the mountain village of Kandersteg, where we catch the famous Kandersteg cable car up the mountain. From there, we set out on a scenic Swiss hiking trail around the lake, passing waterfalls, alpine meadows, and even spotting wild butterflies along the way. The views across this UNESCO World Heritage site are simply some of the best in Switzerland travel.

After exploring the shoreline, we head down to the lakeside and hire a rowing boat on Lake Oeschinensee, drifting out to the middle of its turquoise, glacier-fed waters. Surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks, this is truly one of the most magical things to do in Switzerland.

To finish the day, we take our first ever wild swimming experience in a glacier lake — icy, refreshing, and unforgettable!
