Running a little test to see how long we can survive on the initial meals you get from a crash landed scenario start. Recently from playing some games on biomes with limited food, I've found that rationing your starting food supply can get you a lot further than I had originally thought, and allow you to do more work early game without worrying about setting up food production right away. This gives you more time to do things like set up defences, get some basic crafting happening, and get the fundamental needs of your colony sorted whilst still living off your starting food drop.
