How God Pulled Me Back: After Years of Walking in Sin Instead of Righteousness

In this video, I share the honest truth of how God pulled me back after years of walking in sin instead of righteousness. I grew up in the church, I knew the Scriptures, but I still drifted — choosing the world over the presence of God. And the reality is simple:

“The wages of sin is death.” (Romans 6:23, NIV)

What shook me… what opened my eyes… was realizing what life looks like when God finally says, “Okay—have it your way.”
Because Scripture tells us:

“So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts
to follow their own devices.” — Psalm 81:12 (NIV)

That moment hit my spirit.
Not out of fear of flames — but fear of being without God’s presence forever.
That’s what drew me back. That’s what made me surrender.

And even in the discipline, even in the correction, even in the consequences of my choices… God’s love was still reaching for me:

“Blessed is the one whom God corrects;
so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.” — Job 5:17 (NIV)

His correction wasn’t rejection — it was mercy.
It was protection.
It was an invitation home.

If you’ve drifted… if you feel far from God… if you’ve been choosing sin over righteousness… please know this:

You can always return.
God is still calling your name.
And His presence is worth everything.
