STUNNING LIVERY! Aeronaves TSM McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32F action in Montreal (YUL/CYUL)

What a stunning livery on this iconic jet! Once a workhorse in the aviation industry, the DC9 has become a rare sight for spotters! I have been lucky enough to catch the DC9 from various airlines in North America, I can never get sick of that iconic sound!

Aeronaves TSM is a cargo charter airline based in Saltillo, Mexico. The airline operates a very unique fleet of cargo aircraft including the 737F's, CRJ-100/200F, metroliners, MD-80F's and DC-9F's! Aeronaves does fly to Montreal on occasion with metroliners or CRJ's, as well as their MD80 and DC9 on rare occasion. This is the first visit of Aeronaves's stunning yellow DC-9 to YUL.

This specific DC-9 (XA-URM) started its life in 1968 with Overseas national airways, it flew with various U.S carriers until 1985 when it was converted to cargo for Airborne Express. It joined Aeronaves TSM in 2012 and was leased out to MercadoLibre in 2021. The aircraft is now fully back with Aeronaves TSM.
