The soil is still damp, and the scent of rain-soaked earth fills the air as they carefully attend to their tasks. After a while, the family of her brother, Ghodrat, joins them, and the farm suddenly comes alive; the sense of togetherness makes the work easier and the atmosphere warmer and more intimate. The women of the family work side by side collecting acorns. The rainfall from the previous night has caused all the acorns to fall from the trees, covering the ground beneath them. Their hands are constantly in motion—bending down, picking up the acorns, and placing them into baskets—yet their laughter and conversations never stop. These moments become a blend of work and joy, simple yet meaningful memories formed in the heart of everyday life. The gathered acorns are more than just forest fruit for them; they are an essential part of life. Some are set aside as feed for livestock, while others are saved for making acorn bread—a bread whose taste recalls the past and the deep connection between people and nature. The rain, though it has stripped the branches bare, has generously spread its blessing across the ground, and this small group, through cooperation and shared spirit, turns it into sustenance and lasting memories.
