This is one of the most epic holidays I have had at Zinkwazi Beach KwaZulu-Natal South Africa 🇿🇦. I was able to take my Fluid Bamba Kayak out to sea for an amazing paddle . It is beautiful just watching the ocean by your kayak . One time I paddled out to sea whales during the whale sighting season. When I came back to shore I caught a gentle wave into the shore break and beached the kayak onto the sand. Not the best beach landing I have had but it was a good one.

I also got to use my Stand Up Paddle Board but I use my SUP for surfing . I learned a trick to keep my balance and that is to never look at your feet on your board to remain stable. When your eyes see the waves approaching your body will automatically adjust your balance so you remain secure on the board. It’s almost the same technique as wire walker use by never looking at their feet or looking down but concentrate on an object straight ahead so the eyes keep the body balanced. Your eyes automatically adjust your center of gravity.

I was so happy because not only did I keep my balance in the rough sea waves but I managed to surf some waves as well. I remembered the best way to get through a white horse is not go under it like a regular surfboard but to paddle right over it. The SUP is extremely buoyant so it is impossible to get it under the waves so you have to paddle over it. When paddling on the waves you must keep your feet side by side but when you catch a wave you need to jump into the surfing position and surf the wave. The paddle helps you to stay on the wave for longer so you can enjoy the ride . It was quite an astonishing sight but when I was paddling in the ocean a light aircraft flew at low altitude over me , it was amazing to see.

The lagoon was full this holiday and there was enough water to use the speed boat. My Yamaha 130hp 1991 2 stroke engine which is a very good engine . It runs like a dream. I was able to take my cousins tubing and my little niece and nephews who had never tried it before and they had an absolute blast. My father was able to go for a slalom ski and I went for a water ski on double skis. I also went for a wakeboard ride with an Insta 360 camera to get incredible angles of my ride.

We also did a cruise up Zinkwazi lagoon in the bird sanctuary area. It was amazing to see all the wild species of birds such as hornbills and herons. We did not see the fish eagle this time. My niece and nephew enjoyed going up river as they had never been that far before. I even let the little niece and nephew drive my boat while sitting on my lap. They had an incredible time . We also put the water slide up for them so they could slide down the bank.

We booked a snorkeling tour out to sea with a company called Dive Zinkwazi. It was an incredible sightseeing because not only did we see dolphins but we swam with them. There was one particular dolphin who was very inquisitive and curious , it began to swim around me in circles while I would film. The dolphin seemed to want to play with me and it was breathtaking beautiful moment. I had a spectacular time at Zinkwazi Beach this year and of all the beaches in the world , nothing beats Zinkwazi Beach KwaZulu-Natal South Africa
