Lil Woody Gets Irked by Questioning, Says He Has a Headache in Young Thug RICO Trial

Monday marked the 88th day of the Young Thug trial, where witness Lil Woody, real name Kenneth Copeland, continued to take the stand after previously attempting to plead the Fifth the week before. During his testimony on Monday, he appeared irritated and gave the state a hard time by not providing clear or straightforward answers. Copeland later threatened to plead the Fifth again and mentioned he had a headache.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
