WA Hidden Car Collection - Andy's Aussie Muscle & More!

On today’s episode of Aussie Garage, we reveal a car enthusiast’s dream collection that’s packed with colour, variety, and some serious stories behind the metal.

We caught up with Andy — a passionate car collector from Western Australia — for a chat about how his love for cars began and how his incredible collection grew. From the first cars he bought to the more extreme builds, we’re starting from the front of his shed and working our way back. And keep in mind… this is just Shed One!

We kick things off with Andy’s very first collector car:
👉 VG Valiant Regal 770 — Bought back in 1989 for just $1,000 from Shack Holden in Fremantle, this Valiant runs a 264 Hemi with extractors and Borg Warner gearbox. It’s mostly original, never repainted, and still part of the collection over 35 years later.

Andy’s passion for cars kicked off at just 8 years old when he first spotted a HG-HT Holden Monaro in Exmouth. Since then, it’s been all about collecting, racing, and enjoying motorsport in every form.

Next up:
👉 Big Mo – VH Valiant Charger — Packing a 440 big block with nitrous, 9" Ford diff, and 35 spline axles. It’s done time at the Perth Motorplex, running under 10 seconds before safety rules called it a day. Inside, it’s got crushed velour seats and a full ’90s vibe. Andy keeps it in rotation with the rest of his cars, driving each one every couple of months, and even letting mates take the wheel for events and outings.
