Figuring out this dude was so weak to fire made this a lot easier. There's not a lot of changes between the Phases. in Phase 2 he gets some followup thorns after a few attacks, he gets the charge, and his midrange sweep has an extra follow up. Then Phase 3 is just the same but has that explosion move. I still don't really know the timing of how to dodge it, so this run was lucky. I kinda tried counting steps, 6.5 steps for the first explosion then about 5 steps for the second, but it was never really accurate enough.
Also annoying find out if you deplete his health by using a riposte, he dies and the next phase doesn't have the extra health loss. Annoying to find out. That meant using the riposte if you knew it wouldn't kill him, otherwise charged heavy attacks.
