This week we welcome the beloved New York-based artist MORENXXX. Born in Chicago, they've become a regular at NYC's most coveted clubs, from Nowadays to Basement to Bossa Nova Civic Club to Paragon, and has played as far afield as Berlin’s Berghain, London’s Colour Factory and Amsterdam’s Radion. Likewise, they've filled sought-after slots at festivals including Honcho Campout, Sustain Release and Dweller.

A DJ, producer, and “antidisciplinary artist”, they move through techno, baile funk, and rhythmic noise with a sense of purpose that feels both bodily and ancestral, blurring the line between club set and sonic ritual. This mix builds like a procession, with deep, percussive beginnings giving way to industrial swing, Caribbean syncopation and grainy, distorted highs. At its core is tension—between the corporeal and the conceptual, between dance-floor euphoria and the unease of history vibrating beneath it.

MORENXXX's selections trace a geography of rhythm that resists containment, evoking sweat-slick basements and outdoor ceremonies alike.
