Judy Collins sings the Julie Gold song, "From A Distance," on this 1988 broadcast of the Pat Sajak Show. Judy's piano accompanist is Joseph Joubert. Judy recorded and released this song twice in the late 1980s, first for her 1988 live album "Sanity and Grace," then for her next studio album, "Fires of Eden" on Columbia Records. The song was first recorded by Nancy Griffin in 1987, but in 1990, it became a big hit for Bette Midler.
