A simple form that I´ve put together to explain and guide through the positioning for one vowel to be used as reference to find a more relaxed and comfortable manner to sing on the middle-high area of the voice.
This explanation is a simple guide to allow understanding of the concept and by no means replace training with a teacher.
I understand the volume issue, but as I mentioned, its that way on purpose, notice and understand the difference in intensity from my spoken voice, which is normally perfectly audible on my daily life, to singing in what would be "head voice". Its fundamental to develop your voice and get the necessary compression and energy in order to use your voice with more efficiency and with the quality expected.
So turn up the volume until the speech is more or so on a natural level for you, and aim to at least get the same intensity levels on the sang parts.
