The Korean Society of Dental Root Therapy (Chairman # Lee Woo-chul) held the "2025 Spring Academic Conference" at the Catholic University of Korea Seoul St. Mary's Hospital on April 20.

Under the theme of "Endo Talk 2025: Sustainable Future," an in-depth lecture on root canal charging was held.

As the main event, a special meeting of prominent dental health insurance experts was expected.

In the morning, lectures by two speakers who are actively engaged in academic activities at the opening school were held, including "The Past, Present, and Future of the First Opening of the Dental Preservation Department" by Cho Sung-geun (Lunadental Preservation Dental Department) and "Insurance is a policy, not a study" by Hwang Sung-yeon (Mokdong People's Love Dental Department).

Professor Cho Yong-beom (Dankook Dental University) then gave a special lecture under the theme of "Various Clinical Cases of Apatotomy."

In the afternoon, Director Kang Ho-deok (Dental Clinic) gave a lecture on "Changes in Endodontic Treatment Items and Future Policies in the History of Dental Health Insurance," and Professor Oh Won-man (Chonnam Dental University) gave a lecture on "The Causes and Countermeasures of Refractory Apical Periodontitis."

At the special meeting, the highlight of the spring academic competition, a panel of four experts, including Seol Yoo-seok, Kang Ho-deok, Hwang Sung-yeon, and Professor Kim Mi-ri, had in-depth analysis and discussion under the theme of "Review for Sustainability of Root Treatment: Focusing on the National Health Insurance System" and a question-and-answer session with the audience.

Under four themes: new root canal treatment experienced with XP-endo Rise and root canal expansion for effective cleaning and filling, we had time to hone techniques essential for root canal treatment using the latest equipment and materials.
