This Streambank Stabilization Webinar was hosted by Golden Hills on December 11, 2025 as part of our Regional Conservation Partnership Program for the West Nishnabotna Water Quality and Infrastructure Partnership. This project aims to improve water quality, increase flood resiliency, and protect local infrastructure across a 681,000-acre project area in southwestern Iowa.
Many streambanks in western Iowa's deep loess soil region have severe to extreme streambank erosion. Bank stabilization is the process of restoring banks to a more natural condition. Learn about successful projects here in western Iowa and how you can restore streambanks on your property.
