Ever since we bought "Tank" our 2011 Honda Element, he’s had a nasty clunk every time we hit the gas pedal. Once up to speed, he cruised fine—but sitting at a stoplight? It felt like the whole car was falling apart with terrible vibrations.
After some digging, we discovered the culprit—a rotted-out transmission mount. The dealership quoted the previous owner around $400 for the repair, but we grabbed the Transmission Mount off RockAuto for just $40, and Jeffrey tackled the job himself.
