In this video, we demonstrate the simulation of capacitor bank inrush current using MATLAB Simulink. Capacitor banks are widely used in power systems for power factor correction and voltage regulation, but their switching can result in high inrush currents that may impact system stability and equipment performance. The inrush current magnitude is different depends on the closing time of its breaker.
